Who am I, and what inspires me?
Hello there! I’m Whitney—a professional photographer based in Norton Shores, MI, though I’m always thrilled to travel wherever your story takes me. I’ve been a full-time photographer for over thirteen years, specializing in newborns through the first year, as well as family photography. While those tiny toes and sweet family moments have my heart, I’m always excited to capture anything you can dream up.
Continual growth is at the core of my artistry. I’m passionate about education—both expanding my own skills and helping others learn and master their craft. Staying inspired, learning new techniques, and growing as an artist are things I never plan to stop doing.
I love chasing sunsets, finding new adventures, and creating images filled with warm, golden light and genuine, joyful moments. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me with my favorite people. I have an incredibly supportive husband, three wild and wonderful kids, and three golden retrievers—Finley, Obi, and Chewie—who keep life fun and full of fur. The outdoors is my happy place! Camping, boating, fishing—if it’s outside, we’re there.
My faith is also a grounding part of my life. It inspires the way I see beauty, connect with people, and approach my work with purpose and gratitude.
As a mom, I know just how quickly these seasons pass, and it’s an honor to help families preserve their most meaningful memories. I can’t wait to capture yours.
